John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born on May 29, 1917, to Joseph P. Kennedy and Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy of Brookline, Massachusetts. Theodore Cleveland Bedwell, Jr., (1909-1997) was born in Caddo Mills, Texas, in 1909. He graduated from Sulphur Springs High School, Texas, in 1926; then he attended Northeast Missouri State College, Kirksville, Mo., and Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, from which he was awarded a B.S. degree in 1931.
